Hilo residential fires
Airbnb.org is partnering with Catholic Charities USA to provide free, emergency housing to those impacted by the residential fires in Hilo, Hawaii. Residents impacted by the residential fires can apply for housing with Catholic Charities USA. To qualify for housing, we will need to confirm that your primary residence has been impacted and we can verify your identity. You must have an Airbnb account to verify your identity, if you don’t have one you can create one here.
If you’d like to help provide free stays to people impacted by the residential fires, you can make a donation to Airbnb.org. 100% of donations go directly to emergency housing. If you’re an Airbnb host, you can sign up to offer discounted stays for impacted residents. Airbnb donates its host service fees to Airbnb.org for these stays and provides hosts with AirCover for each booking.
